I can't believe we're at week 22 already. Time has gone by way too fast and we're only 18 weeks away from our due date. When we were 18 weeks away from knowing for sure that it is a boy that we're having, that seemed like it was a long time. But 18 weeks until having another baby? Yikes. That's scary.
My biggest worry in the past week is making sure K gets enough quality time when the new baby arrives. I'm sure she won't feel like she does and I'm not sure how to get around that.
But for now, she's really interested in babies and she loves helping clean so maybe I can use that to my benefit.
I still am exhausted. Around week 14, I gained more energy but it seems like I lost that quickly and am back to being tired most of the day, everyday.
Baby L is kicking like crazy every few hours and it's fun to think back to the first pregnancy and relate how they have been the same and how they are different.
And I'm also hoping Baby L has a lot less hair than K. I would be okay with a baby with less hair ... I think.

week 19 day 5
Next Monday is the big day - we find out if we're having a boy or girl. I'm feeling pretty confident that it's a boy so I'll be shocked if my dream about a girl is actually true.
As more people are realizing I'm pregnant, it's becoming a lot more real which is really odd to me. I still forget I'm pregnant frequently and still can't believe we're actually pregnant and that we're about half way done! It's just going by way too fast and I hope I'm going to be able to handle being a mother of TWO!

week 18 day 2
The baby is kicking away these days. I received a nice big kick this morning to wake me up. And he squirms and wiggles and must love sugar too. I crave sugar all time and he had a hay day last night when I had lots of sugar.
Getting large and uncomfortable and so glad we're almost half done. I don't know how much longer my body can take this weight! My legs have started to fall asleep frequently and my back is getting tired. Twenty-ish more pounds and I'll be done! Yay!

week 17 day 7
Time is going by way too quickly. I can't believe it's December already! May will be here way too soon! My belly is getting big and my clothes are getting uncomfortable.
Plus, only 18 more days until we find out the gender of the babe! I'm thinking boy. I feel pretty good about that. But a can't forget the dream I had about a little girl.
Christie had her little baby on November 29. He was 6 weeks early but almost as big as K was at over 40 weeks! He's in the NICU and there are struggles with both Christie and the boy, obviously, but they are both doing well and we're praying that he can go home soon!
It all makes me pretty excited to have our little babe. It's going to be so fun to see how K and this baby differ too.
I've been feeling the babe quick and wiggle for the past couple of weeks. It's so nice to have a remembrance that I'm pregnant and everything is going well!
And yes, oddly enough, quite often, I forget I'm pregnant. The large belly helps me remember more these days but there are plenty of times I catch a glimpse of my reflection and think, "Oh yeah! I'm pregnant! Crazy!"
